The Gas Delivery Unit (GDU-2) can be part of an Instrument Management System (IMS), or alternatively, as a stand alone unit connected to a PC or Laptop via USB. The GDU-2 is used by instrument operators to automatically test / calibrate instruments on a frequent basis.
The IMS would consist of a GDU-2, a networked PC, calibration gases and FlexiCal Standard software.
The objective of field testing, using a GDU-2, is to ensure that the instrument is correctly functioning on a regular basis, to check and correct calibration, and to maintain records of instrument performance.
The GDU-2 can be wall mounted or freestanding on a workbench and is connected to cylinders of calibration gas to ensure that a consistent standard can be maintained against which the instrument can be tested.
- Automatic gas delivery system with automatic gas pressure control
- Easy to use
- PC controlled - allowing the user to print and store test / calibration certificates
Version 2 software is used for test or calibration of Gasurveyor / Gascoseeker / Shipsurveyor type instruments with either two com ports on the instrument top panel, or an IrDA window on the side panel.
