It consists of two communicating vessels in which pressure is determined over one or more levels of liquid.
The given device enables the user to read two types of pressure:
- low-range (bottom leg);
- high-range (right leg);
The process of measuring starts with inclination of the tool for its fluid levels to read "0". The application process is facilitated by presence of magnetic clips – they help to get the gage immobilized on steel surfaces.
This utility is capable to work in two modes:
- inclined gage mode provides readings from 0.20 to 0 to 2.6" of water;
- U-tube mode reads 0 – 16" of water.
