The iBox Portable Secure Storage Device by Barska is an all new portable storage solution that protects your valuables and belongings with Barska's innovative new Dual Access Biometric Fingerprint Scanner. The iBox has been specially designed with dual biometric sensors with advanced biometric security technology. When the items must be accessed, the state of the art lock is opened through the advanced biometric security technology. 2 master users of the device may easily register up to 120 fingerprints.
The solid ABS construction of the iBox provides extra protection for the contents inside, yet remains light enough to be easily transported. The size of the iBox (11.25 in. x 10 in. x 5.25 in.) allows it to be stored in compact places, such as an office drawer or filing cabinet. The iBox has 410 cubic inches of interior volume, which is spacious enough to accomodate multiple items. A protective carpet is also included with the iBox, which provides additional protection to the contents within.
An industry leading Automated Single Point Locking System senses when a finger is placed on the scanner, which allows the user to access the iBox within a matter of seconds. The lid opens all the way to clearly view all the contents. Once the lid is closed, the iBox will automatically lock itself. The iBox also features a low battery warning system, which alerts the owner if the batteries are getting low, as well as an open box alert that notifies the user if the lid has been left open.
Matching pattern-based algorithms are used to compare a stored fingerprint's unique patterns against a candidate fingerprint in order to authorize access to the safe. The candidate fingerprint's unique pattern is directly compared to a database of stored fingerprint templates to determine the degree to which they match. If the candidate fingerprint matches that of a stored template, the safe will allow access.
