As with any PPE, a lab coat should fit properly. The size should not be too small as you need to be able to move freely. On the other hand, a too big lab coat is not a good thing either. If you extend your arms outward, the sleeves of your lab coat should stop at your wrists (or just before them). Make sure that you have the right size and that your clothes and skin underneath the lab coat are covered.
